I also tried 'gpedit.msc' and set Prevent Theme Changes setting to 'Not Configured', etc. I also ran the 'Re-run assessment' for the Aero, it is completed, but no effect after that.

But, I see that 3D is enabled in my graphics.But nothing seems to get the Aero themes enabled, they are all greyed out.My laptop is provided by my company, I have admin rights, but I am not getting how to enable the aero themes.How can I enable Aero themes?

This issue started just 2 days ago (12/14). Every time I startup the computer (Dell Desktop XPS8700 64 bit), Aero Themes are disabled. If I go to SERVICESTHEMES, the service shows STARTED, however all Aero Themes are grayed out. If I STOP and RESTART the THEMES services, they return just fine. However, upon every reboot, the situation returns. The STARTUP TYPE is always set to AUTOMATIC, but it appears it is not actually starting.

The attached list shows the recent Windows update which I am assume may have created the issue. If any additional information would help I will be happy to provide. Any help is greatly appreciated.started, I again have to STOP then RESTART the service and it works.
