Useful Links.Social Networks. I'm an old fart and I love playing Minecraft especially on these amazing modded servers. But it's never easy to figure out what the rules are. One of the biggest issues for me is I always have a hard time playing games without some kind of minimap. As a long time Shotbow player I got used to using Rei's Minimap and I was really happy when Shotbow made their own fork of Rei's once the official Rei's minimap stopped updating.There are several places where Hypixel's rules are stated.
The text in green are mods allowed. Those in red, if you are caught, or if we have reason to believe you are using them, you are VERY likely to get banned. Keep in mind it's only if you use it - having it in your.JAR isn't hurting my server if you don't use it. LabyMod is hereby banned from Badlion and all its servers effective immediately now that another network has confirmed our developers' suspicion about the mod. It does not only change animations like everyone thinks, it also changes how minecraft sends attacks to the server which will occasionally flag anticheat systems because it is not vanilla like minecraft. Pvp Mods Allowed On Hypixel
Some of them conflict. The Hypixel wiki says minimaps are allowed as long as they don't show entities or players but the official rules link to a specific list of mods allowed that includes Rei's but no other minimaps.The problem is all minimaps can be set to show entities and Rei's isn't available for 1.8 on Hypixel. So I'm not sure what to do for a minimap. Any suggestions would be appreciated.The Wiki also mentions a mod called 'Better Sprinting' which I'm not familiar with but sounds a little cheaty but Better Sprinting isn't mentioned in the link from the official rules page.
So if I could get some clarity on that. I'd also like to know if Armor Status/Effect Status is still legal as well. Or maybe all the allowed mods could be updated to me.Thanks for your time. I believe you can have a minimal minimap mod if you disable players and entities, which I believe is possible.
List Of Allowed Mods On Hypixel
All other gui mods (like you mentioned armor stats) should be allowed as long as they only affect you (as in you can't have a mod that allows you to see the health of other players).As for armor stats mods, I'm not sure why you would need one as a full set typically lasts longer than a full Hypixel game. Better Sprinting, if I remember correctly, is not allowed. It gives you the ability to sprint sideways and strafe, although I may be wrong.If you have more questions, I would suggest talking to the moderators on the forums. I'm just a player going off of my own experience here.
