There is a multiplayer mod called sonic adventure 2 battle network. You have to set up a match with someone to play with them. There is not server broweser. #2 Shieldlesscap.

Sonic Adventure 2 hasn't gotten much love from the modding community so i figured, why not teach people how to edit the textures?Things you will need:Main Memory's Pak tool and Gvm2Pak tool:Paint.NET or any other image editor that lets you edit dds files:Sonic Adventure 2 HD(steam release)Textures to useYou should know exactly what you want to edit.If you want to edit the stages, there are usually 3 key files for it:The objtexstgXX files,the bgtexXX files,and the landtxXX files.They should be located in thefolder.

Use the codes posted below for chao customization.1. Make a new file on your AR.2. On the new file, go to chao garden and hatch the eggs, then leave.3. Switch to your main file and move your first chao in Dark Garden to slot B.4. Use your AR to customize the chao, start the game with the codes on.5.

Go into Chao Garden on your main file and buy a chao egg from the Black Market, hatch it.6. Go to the chao transporter and look in Dark Garden on slot B.7. See the new chao? Switch the chao you just bought with that one. If you want more of that particular chao, buy more eggs(making sure to hatch them first) and repeat the method.
